My mom ran with me when she was pregnant with me and so I must've caught the bug! I've been running with Racecats for a couple years now and I really like it. I'm getting pretty fast too. I need to work on consistent running, because I have big dreams, but kind of want to get there without working for it! (my mom might be typing this for me...and if I discovered she told everyone my name was Fartlek I might dis-own her!)

I'm in 3rd grade this year and training with Racecats Elite program. If you are in elementary or middle school, you should join us!

Another Monday Racecats meet!

The one on the report is for his 3K time. His 2K time was 9:14 and he was in 7th place overall and in AG

This was a PR on a 3K for him, so it was fun to see him work hard! Not a PR on the 2K, but I think he likes running the 3K better :)

Adam ran just at Elite today. No elementary practice with mom. Coaches said it was a good workout and 3.5-4 miles, so I'm giving him 3.5 :)

3 slow miles uphill with mom from the Rec center after dropping off the car for Lauren (Adam's big sister). When he finished Adam said "I don't feel like I'm having any fun, I just feel like I'm SUFFERING!" So, I think it wasn't a great run for him :) But, we take the good and bad, right? Plus he had 2 big days before this. We all need some recovery.

Racecats with mom! Elementary practice only. We did the Square Pyramid. Mom made a square/rectangle course that was about .15 miles total. We sprinted one side, recovered one side, sprinted 2, recovered 2 .... all the way to 4  and then did another 4 and worked our way back down. 

Then we did some sprinting strides as well. A good workout!

Mom ditched out and went to Nathan's ultimate frisbee game, so  she just has to go with what I told her.
